Where this number comes from

A caller who reaches voicemail is holding a list of other numbers, and the next one that answers usually gets the job. That is the whole mechanism: you are not competing on price at that moment, you are competing on picking up. This tool prices what that costs you instead of leaving a message.

How this calculation works

We multiply your weekly missed calls by your close rate to estimate jobs lost. Each lost job is then valued at your average ticket price, with a multiplier for repeat customers (the long tail of lifetime value most owners forget about). The default 30% repeat rate × 3x LTV multiplier comes from typical home-service industry benchmarks (HVAC, plumbing, cleaning). Your real numbers may be higher, especially for recurring services like pest control or maintenance.
