Setting a 'I want to do $50K/month' goal is the easy part. Working out how many leads, how high a close rate, and how much marketing spend you need to actually hit it is the hard part. This calculator reverse-engineers your full funnel from the goal down: target revenue, average ticket, close rate, current lead volume, marketing spend per acquired customer. It tells you what you need to change to make the number happen.

How this calculation works

Three levers move monthly revenue: leads, close rate, average ticket. The calculator surfaces what each one needs to be to hit your goal. Path 1 - more leads, same close rate: most common. Marketing spend = additional jobs needed x your CAC. If you need 24 more jobs at $85 CAC, plan $2,040/month in marketing. Path 2 - same leads, higher close rate: highest leverage. Closing 50% instead of 35% on the same lead volume hits the goal without spending more. Lead response time + AI receptionist + workflow automation are the levers here. Path 3 - same leads + close, higher average ticket: pricing increase. 10% higher avg ticket = 10% more revenue with no operational change. Often the easiest path. The Service Pricing Calculator helps you set the right rate. The capacity check tells you if your team can physically handle the goal volume. Over capacity = you need to add a tech (or push average ticket up so fewer jobs cover the goal). Most owners pick Path 1 by default ("get more leads"), but Path 2 and Path 3 require zero acquisition spend and produce the same result. Run all three before committing to a marketing budget.

Real scenarios

Find the persona closest to yours, then click to load those numbers into the calculator.

HVAC owner, $28K to $50K/month

78% growth target. Current 90 leads, 35% close.

111 jobs needed. Path 1: 217 leads needed (+127). Path 2: lift close to 81% (unrealistic). Path 3: avg ticket from $450 to $806 (unrealistic). Best play: combine - push close to 50% + lift price 10% + add 60 leads.

Plumber, $18K to $30K/month

62% growth, capacity is borderline.

78 jobs needed (out of 110 capacity). Path 1 marketing spend: $3,600/month. Capacity check passes. Achievable in 60-90 days with funnel + marketing investment.

Cleaning company, $12K to $20K

67% growth, room in capacity.

111 recurring jobs needed (vs 67 today). Recurring services compound, so a few new clients now = 111 visits/mo within 3 months. Workflow automation handles bookings.
