The time required depends on the size of your vehicle and the severity of the paint defects, swirl marks, oxidation, water spots, and light scratches all take different amounts of work to address. Most paint correction appointments are completed within a single visit. In most cases, your vehicle is ready to drive the same day. If a ceramic coating is applied after correction, there is a curing period to observe before the vehicle gets wet, and we will walk you through exactly what to expect before we leave.

A standard wash or detail cleans the surface and may add a layer of wax or sealant on top of existing defects. Paint correction actually removes a very fine layer of clear coat using machine polishing to eliminate or significantly reduce swirl marks, haze, light scratches, and oxidation, improving the actual condition of the paint rather than just masking it.
